Drew Shapiro has been designing jewelry for over 20 years. He has almost always
worked exclusively with sterling silver. Drew would always be fascinated with designers of apparel, they literally determined the future of fashion. All other fashion industries seem to revolve around apparel. Clothing designers set the tone of the world, he thought. If fashion magazines reported that floral patterns are abundant in clothing, shoe designers, jewelry designers and others would design floral motifs to coincide.

Drew always loved how color drove the fashion industry, it also helped mold someones feelings and personality. If a woman wore bright colors she actually felt cheerier that day.

Thus Chelsea Taylor was born, Drew felt if he could design a color driven jewelry
collection, he too could help mold a woman's feelings and personality. He realized by
providing every one of his designs in 19 or more colors, women could choose the color that would actually compliment her clothing. It wasn't until the collection launched that he realized it also would help women feel good about wearing her jewelry. Utilizing the best crystals in the world, Swarovski™, he designed jewelry that was bold, glitzy and above all fun!! The immediate reaction of people who see Chelsea Taylor is that it is fun. People would tell Drew that they actually felt good wearing the colorful jewelry, people would say that they would actually get stopped, grabbed and questioned where did they get the colorful jewelry.

This was just the start, currently not only jewelry is being designed, but sunglasses,
watches, beads, and designing has started on a removable ornament collection that
will be interchangeable on handbags, belts, shoes and other items. A fragrance is in the works and who knows maybe someday Chelsea Taylor may have a clothing line, and then Drew could actually come full circle with his original fascination.
