Chelsea Taylor Introduces Semi Precious Swarovski™, The Classics  and Dynasty Collections for Spring 2011

Chelsea Taylor, the jewelry known for its captivating colors and sets that are deemed to shape a mood with their radiant, luminous hues, introduces a color-driven line consisting of pieces adorned with endless genuine colors of Swarovski™ crystals and silhouettes.  Chelsea Taylor founder and designer, Drew Shapiro, aspired to create a line stemming from his everyday inspirations of travels and journeys, contemporary art and sculptures in passing, and fashions and colors taken straight from the runway of past shows attended.  Three years later, Chelsea Taylor continues to flourish within the industry as the women who tout the fabulous pieces love that each earring, ring and necklace is so definitive towards their own individuality.

The Chelsea Taylor brand houses three different collections, that of The Classics, Semi-Precious Stones and Dynasty, which reflect upcoming Spring 2011 trends featuring 60’s and 70’s glamour, animal prints, furs and leathers along with colors that are uplifting, energizing and exciting.  The Classics boast beaming colors in over nineteen shades consisting of purples, pinks, yellows, blues and enamels intertwined with crystals as the everyday necklace or earring piece. The Semi-Precious Stones feature bold crystallized cocktail rings and brooches, a magnificent accompaniment to the LBD.  The popular Dynasty holds 80’s inspired, ultra- glam dazzling pieces illuminating turquoises, blues, greens and mixed gold and silvers.  Dependent on crystals, prices range from $50.00-$2,000.00.

Being in the jewelry business for over twenty years, Drew Shapiro mastered his craft through various apprenticeships.  Shapiro had always been behind the scenes in a world where to him, jewelry always came first.  Starting out, he worked exclusively with sterling silver but always felt he wanted to reach more of a woman’s personality to make them feel good, with more eclectic styles.  Never understanding why jewelry could never follow the same trends as apparel, Drew set out creating Chelsea Taylor with strong patterns and bold colors in mind; similar to how designers forecast their collections.  Shapiro wanted his jewelry to be on point with what was considered trendy, but coinciding with what his customers would actually want to wear.  Thus building the Chelsea Taylor name, within his first year alone, QVC requested the line which has continued to advance with thousands of fans.  This was just the start for Chelsea Taylor, as the line continues to grow with sunglasses, watches, interchangeable belts, handbags, shoes and more.

In addition to the website www.chelseataylor.com, the collection can be found in Las Vegas’ Bellagio, MGM and Wynn (coming soon) and retail jewelers and boutiques throughout the country.
